Castagnolino was designed completely in compliance with environmental heating and hot water are provided by renewable energy, and all the walls were painted with natural earth colors.
The farm produces extra virgin olive oil DOP olive oil and saffron of San Gimignano, and other aromatic plants are also grown, including Certaldo Onion, Slow Food presidium .
